FusOff A and FusOff B
FusOff A and FusOff B are microbiological preparations containing selected bacteria Bacillus spp.which, among other things, support and stimulate the recovery of the root system after stress factors
These are high-molecular-weight organic compounds formed during the decomposition of plant debris by humification. They are a mixture of many compounds with different structures and hence do not have a single chemical formula. The combination of many such subunits forms humus.
Humic acids are in the form of chains or rings in which they occur:
- functional residues through which they can bind e.g. biologically active substances
- biologically active substances (hormones, catechins, flavones, peptides, polyphenols, sugars or amino acids)
- elements and minerals necessary for the development of fauna and flora
Compared to humic acids, fulvic acids have a simpler structure and a lower molecular weight. They also have fewer free functional groups, but are more mobile in soil solution, ensuring the vertical and horizontal transport of mineral and organic substances in the soil profile. Their interaction with humic acids and humins increases the surface area many times over, and thus the potential for interaction with ionic substances.
Huminy are the insoluble parts that constitute the bed on which the smaller fractions settle.
And the high porosity of the humin fraction ensures:
- collection of water (soil solution) in the form of micro-droplets,
- and a habitat and refuge for micro-organisms.
This design and the chemical properties of the constituent compounds ensure:
- transport of water into the rhizosphere
- protection against overfertilisation of water, reduction of mineral fertilisation
- increase in pH from approx. 6 to 7.1 (with 3 applications over the next 2 years)
- soil aeration
- binding of Na and Cl ions
- increase in soil microbiological activity
